3-2 CONTROL VALVE SPRING (4L60E) 96-ON

This spring works only in '96-later On/Off style 3-2 control valve bodies. It will not work in '93-'95 PWM style 3-2 control valve bodies.

Symptoms:

Broken 3-2 control valve spring
3-2 Bind-up
Overheated 2-4 band

Cause:
Fatigue from 3-2 control valve operation.

Correction:
Sonnax 3-2 control valve spring salvages valve bodies and prevents 3-2 bind or 2-4 band overheat.

The 3-2 control valve spring in late-model GM 4L60-E, 4L65-E and 4L70-E valve bodies often breaks, and can cause a 3-2 bind and/or 2-4 band to overheat. This spring is often found to be broken during valve body service, and OE replacements are not available.
